Samton introduced the Samton-DMRV PoC it is preparing for a solar mini-grid in Samburu, northern Kenya. The team also shared its plan to connect field data on electricity generation and use with measurable emissions-reduction outcomes, while improving energy access and supporting sustainable operation in the community.

The discussion also covered local conditions and practical considerations for applying DMRV to green-growth and development-cooperation projects in Kenya.

This visit was an exchange of views intended to learn from local experience and perspectives, rather than a meeting for a formal agreement. Building on the discussion, Samton will continue refining a DMRV demonstration model suited to Samburu's environment and project structure.
